Who is Bronte by Moon?

Bronte by Moon is a British-based manufacturer of quality woollen accessories. We have been creating finely crafted accessories for fashion and the home for over 75 years. We are part of the World-renowned British woollen mill, Abraham Moon & Sons. 

 

Where are you based?

We are based in Yorkshire, England, at Netherfield Mill in Leeds. Every single process to create our goods is made right in that factory. 

 

What are your ties to Moon?

We are part of Abraham Moon & Sons. Moon are one of the rare remaining vertical woollen mills in Great Britain, with a reputation for consistent quality and innovative design. Are your products made in the UK?

Yes. All the products that we make are manufactured in the UK within the heart of Yorkshire.

 

What products do you make?

All our products are made in the UK by ourselves. We make all our products at our historic woollen mill in Guiseley, Leeds. Everything is made under one roof and has been done for over 175 years.

 

Are your products sustainable? 

All the products that we make are crafted from Wool. Wool is a naturally sustainable product with many natural benefits. While we may source other lifestyle goods in the future, our woollen products will always be made under a single site in Yorkshire, England. Any products we source externally will be done mindfully and with our commitment to our ethical values at the front of our minds. 

 

Are your products ethical?

Yes. We are precious about the ethical treatment of the animals when sourcing our natural products. All our wool product follows Anti-Mulesing practices and comes with compliance standards for animal welfare. We are committed to ensuring the welfare of the animals where our wool is sourced. Any products we sell that we do not make will only be sourced by us if they meet our ethical commitments. You can find out more about our commitments here.

 

How can I find out about your latest products and offers?

We regularly create exciting new designs for both interiors and accessories. The best way to get the latest product information is to join our mailing list. Otherwise, you can always keep checking the new arrivals section of our website, where we will show our latest seasonal collections available for you to enjoy. 

 

How do I care about the products that I buy from you?

It's important that you care for your woollens properly. This way, they will remain in the best quality possible for as long as possible. There are a few tips that we recommend you follow to keep your woollens in the best condition. You can find them on our product care page here.

 

What type of wool do you use for your products?

Our throws are made from various types of wool: Shetland-Type, Merino and Mohair. 

All of our scarves are woven with our soft and cosy Merino wool. 

 

What are the sizes of the throws and blankets that you make?

All our throws are made to approximately 185 cm x 140cm. Please note that due to the natural composition of these products, there can be a slight variation in these sizes. Please note that some special designs such as our Union Jack throws may be slightly different in size. 

 

What are the sizes of the scarves that you make?

Our scarves come in three different sizes: 25 cm, 50 cm and 70 cm. Please note that due to the natural composition of these products, there can be a slight variation in these sizes. 

 

 


Delivery and Returns
 

Where can I find out more about delivering my goods?

We aim to dispatch orders within three working days. All orders are shipped during the working week (Monday - Friday). All orders are shipped from our mill: Abraham Moon & Sons, Netherfield Mills, Guiseley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS20 9PD, Great Britain. Currently, we offer free shipping for all orders within the UK. Outside of this offer, delivery charges vary.
